I rebuilt the site around five focused pages — Home, Accommodations, Restaurant, About, and Contact — cutting out everything that wasn’t helping a guest decide to book. The redesign moved away from the old black-and-white look entirely, replacing it with a colorful, tropical aesthetic that actually reflects the property: turquoise pools, palm trees, and the resort’s real atmosphere, paired with a custom booking flow and a mobile-first layout built for guests browsing from their phones.
Most of the original photography was solid, so rather than reshoot everything, I worked with what the property already had and built the new design around those images. The existing copy needed the most work — a lot of it was outdated or wordy, so I went through and tightened it down to what guests actually need to know, refining the wording until it matched the rest of the site’s tone. The real transformation came from the visual side: swapping the flat black-and-white theme for a warmer, tropical palette that echoes the pools, palm trees, and thatched roofs guests actually see when they arrive, so the site finally looks like the property it represents instead of a generic template.
